Sharing some Investing and Economic insights:

THREE things you need to know this week;

1. Global inflation may be close to the high point of the current cycle – International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva. This suggests that the surge in consumer price may enter the next cycle — down.

2. Proton has recorded its highest sales volume of 115,366 units in the January to October 2022 period, exceeding 114,708 units sold for the whole of 2021, boosted by local market success and its export division.

3. Twitter fired more than 90% of its staff in India over the weekend – part of global reductions by new owner Elon Musk. Globally, it has reduced its headcount by about half or roughly 3,700 workers. Elon Musk has completed his acquisition of Twitter but said that he overpaid for the company. And now, he’s finding ways to reduce expenditures at the social media giant.

4. Raiz is about helping you save & invest more – being able to save 5% of your salary is better than earning 5% return. Having a disciplined savings habit can help improve your financial position quicker (than spending time choosing the best fund manager).
